Age: 4-5 (class max - 16 students)


RUBY & SUNSTONE SPECIFICS:

Attire: Ballet Uniform Required (Contact Instructor for more details)

Hair: ponytail or bun

Class description: The goal of this class is to build ballet technique upon a perspective that uses dance as an expression of worship unto the Lord. This class will include an intro to ballet basics and will explore creative movement. Inspiring and nurturing the creativity in students to experience dance, and to ENJOY it, is an important aspect at this stage of development. Free-style worship and choreography will be integrated into class. Sessions are intended to be ongoing and continued enrollment is strongly encouraged for consistent improvement.

BALLET: TOPAZ I

Age: 6-7 (class max - 16 students)


BALLET: EMERALD I

Age: 8-12


TOPAZ I & EMERALD I SPECIFICS:

Attire: Ballet Uniform Required (Contact Instructor for more details)

Hair: bun

Class description: The goal of this class is to build ballet technique upon a perspective that uses dance as an expression of worship unto the Lord. This class will include fundamental basics of ballet (barre work, center work, and across the floor). Learning good habits that are executed correctly is a primary focus at this stage of development (such as placement, posture, self-discipline, and diligence). Inspiring and nurturing the creativity in students to enjoy dancing for the Lord is continually reinforced through free-style worship and choreography in class. Sessions are intended to be ongoing and continued enrollment is strongly encouraged for consistent improvement.

TOPAZ II & TOPAZ III SPECIFICS:

Class Description: The goal of this class is to build ballet technique upon a perspective that uses dance as an expression of worship unto the Lord. This class is for students desiring to work towards a high level of excellence in technique. Included in this class are the fundamental basics of ballet, learning vocabulary (pronunciation and spelling), and biblical principles to sharpen the dancer’s character so that the dancer’s whole being (mind, body, and spirit) is working towards excellence. Learning good habits that are executed correctly is a primary focus at this stage of development (such as placement, posture, self-discipline, and diligence). Inspiring and nurturing the creativity in students to enjoy dancing for the Lord is continually reinforced through free-style worship and choreography in class. Sessions are intended to be ongoing and continued enrollment is strongly encouraged for consistent improvement.

Attire: Required - Ballet shoes, form fitting attire

Hair: pulled back out of face

Class description: The goal of this class is to build ballet technique upon a perspective that uses dance as an expression of worship unto the Lord. This class will include fundamental basics of ballet (barre work, center work, and across the floor). Correct alignment, posture, and placement will be a primary focus. Building muscle strength, flexibility, and agility will also be incorporated throughout class. Creativity and expression will be encouraged and explored in free-style worship and choreography in class. Sessions are intended to be ongoing and continued enrollment is strongly encouraged for consistent improvement.
